How to Visualize Your Way to Success

Visualization works by reprogramming your subconscious mind to believe what you are imagining in your head. This goes beyond just daydreaming, which is usually more of a fantasy world you create in your head. With visualization, you get detailed and imagine specific scenes and scenarios that align with what you want to manifest in your life.

If your biggest goal is to be successful, then you can visualize yourself achieving this goal in whatever way you desire the most, and when you can do this convincingly, your subconscious mind thinks it has already happened. The result is that your actions and natural instincts stay aligned with this higher vibe, dream life.

It works amazingly well when it comes to manifesting and the law of attraction, not to mention how powerful it is for your mindset.

Define Your Own Definition of Success

This is a really important detail to get out of the way before you start manifesting success with visualization. Everyone has their own definition of what it means to be successful. For some, it is getting a specific job or starting their own business, for others it is about the material possessions they have. If you look at success as the amount of wealth you have, then that is what you should write down.

Success comes in many forms, but here are some law of attraction journal prompts that can help you define your success:

Is it about a specific job?

Would you work for a company or have your own business?

What would your job title be?

How much money would you make if you were successful?

What material possessions define your success?

Is it about money and wealth, status, or something else?

How will you feel when you’re successful?

Does your success make you happy?

What project do you most want to accomplish?

If you felt you had a more limited time left in your life what would success look like then?

Write Down What it Looks Like

Get out a journal or notebook and write down some notes about what success would look like. If you were at the level of success you are aiming for, what would you see in front of you? What would you look like? What types of people would be around you? What would your office or workplace look like?

Get really specific here if you want to visualize and manifest success into your life. You can’t be too vague or broad, or it will be almost impossible to manifest by using visualization. Just telling yourself you are successful because you have a certain amount of money in the bank or you are investing your money in real estate isn’t close to enough. You have to be much more specific than that, where you see how you made your money, how it changes your life, and what it means to you.

What in your environment would change if you were wealthy and successful? How would it be different than the life you are living right now?

Consider How it Would Feel

Now move on to your feelings and emotions. There are two ways to focus on your feelings. First, is the actual literal sensations you would feel if you were successful. The second is more about your emotions and feelings in your mind and heart if you achieved your dreams.

With feeling by touch, consider the level of success you want to attain, and create a specific scenario for your visualization. This can be something as simple as walking into your corner office with a view, sitting in your large comfortable leather chair, and feeling yourself sinking into the seat. Placing your hands on your solid wood desk and feeling the smooth grains underneath your hands. These minute details really help you to connect to the visualization.

With emotions, it is more about how you feel on the inside. Your happiness and excitement, your feeling of contentment and security. Joy, pride, really anything that you think you would experience when you achieved that dream.

Add Visualization to Your Routine

Lastly, use everything you learned to add a visualization practice to your routine. Instead of just doing it here and there when you think about it or have free time, add it into your regular routine just like any other appointment. You can consider it part of your self-care routine, or do it for a few minutes after you wake up or before you go to bed.

The more you practice your visualization, the faster your life begins to change.
